What makes Type gear so awesome?
We’re the first company to put as much thought into your gear as you put into the care of your patients. We know working in healthcare is rough and staying organized is easier said than done. That’s where we come in. Our Type belt bags are a stylish solution designed with your needs in mind - think water-resistant, durable, and spacious.
What's the difference between the Type A and Type B?
That's a great question! The Type A has a dedicated stethoscope strap and a divider in the main compartment whereas the Type B has a mesh pocket. Both have the cord opening, pager straps, and key leash.
How do I find out more information about a specific product?
You can find all product info on each individual product page, but both versions of Type have the key leash, pager straps, cord opening, and are made from water-resistant nylon! Contact us if you have any other specific product questions - we'd love to hear from you!
How do I clean my Type?
We recommend spot cleaning your Type. You can use a disinfectant wipe and give it a good rub down. We don’t recommend putting it in the washing machine, but we’ve heard from customers that they put it on a delicate cycle with no issues! If you decide to toss it in the washer, place it in a wash bag.
How much is shipping?
We offer free shipping for orders over $50 via USPS. If you prefer a different carrier, you can select it and opt to pay for shipping on checkout.
Where do you ship?
We ship to all 50 U.S. states. We also ship to U.S. PO Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Unfortunately, we don’t ship internationally yet.
How do I update my shipping address?
Hit us up here as soon as you can and include the correct shipping address! If we haven’t processed your order, we’ll update it and ship it to the right spot.
How do I cancel my order?
Omg, what did we do wrong? Please contact us here and provide your order number and a detailed explanation of why you hate us (just kidding). If it hasn’t been processed, we can cancel it, no problem.
I think my order is lost…
Argh! Don’t panic! If you received your delivery confirmation email but can’t find your package, it could be lost. Delivery services can be a little early on marking your Type as delivered, so give them 24-48 hours to sort it out. If you don’t get your bag after 48 hours, please contact us and provide the order number and shipping address. You'll also need to reach out to the shipper, but we’ll make sure to help you sort it out!
How do I return my bag?
Super easily! Just email us and we’ll send over instructions the return address, and walk you through how to get store credit!
What’s your return and exchange policy?
At Type, we're all about thoughtful purchases and happy customers. That's why we offer store credit for returns instead of refunds – it's our way of encouraging you to shop with intention and minimize environmental impact. If you're ever unsure about a purchase, take your time to sleep on it or reach out to us with any questions you may have. We're here to help!
Do you have gift cards?
We sure do! We have a digital gift card and a physical gift card. But please note, gift cards are non-refundable, and we only ship across the U.S.
How do I apply a discount code?
On Desktop, you’ll see a sidebar on the right-hand side of your screen. Enter the code and hit apply. If the code is valid, you should see the discount applied to eligible items in your Checkout summary!
How do I get a student or military discount?
We use SheerID to verify your student or military status. For more information, click here.
Can I order for my entire office / team / group?
Yes! We LOVE accessorizing teams with their own Type. Find out more by emailing us.
Can you customize / brand the bags for custom orders?
We can! It would need to be a larger order, and we typically require a bit of a heads up to make it happen.
