Shipping policy

We're a small, founder-run business, and we appreciate your support. Here's what to expect when you order from Type. We currently ship within the United States and Canada.

Processing Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 4–6 business days. You'll receive an email with tracking as soon as your package is handed to the carrier.

In all cases, we will ship your order within 30 days of purchase unless we notify you otherwise. If we can't ship within that time, we'll contact you with a revised estimate and the option to cancel for a full refund.

Shipping Rates and Methods

All orders ship via USPS, with tracking included. Shipping cost is calculated based on your order and destination, and the exact amount and available service options are shown at checkout before you pay.

Carriers and Tracking

All orders include tracking. Once your package is handed to the carrier, you'll receive an email with tracking details. After that point, delivery is handled by the carrier.

Delivery Estimates and Delays

Delivery timelines are estimates only and begin once your order ships, not when it's placed. Type isn't responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, holidays, failed delivery attempts, or other events outside our control.

If an unexpected delay occurs on our end (for example, a supply or fulfillment issue), we'll reach out to keep you updated.

Shipping Addresses

Please review your shipping address carefully before placing an order. Type isn't responsible for delays, losses, or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout. If you catch a mistake, email us right away at info@carrytype.com and we'll help if the order hasn't shipped yet.

Canada Orders, Duties, and Customs

For orders shipped to Canada, you are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, carrier fees, and any other charges required for delivery. These fees aren't included in the product price or shipping cost unless clearly stated at checkout, and Type doesn't control them.

Delivery timelines for Canadian orders may vary based on customs processing, carrier delays, and holidays. Canadian orders are final sale except where an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing — see our Returns, Store Credit & Refund Policy. Full Canada terms are described in our Terms of Service.

Lost, Delayed, or Missing Packages

If your tracking hasn't updated in a while, or your package is marked delivered but you can't find it, please see the "Packages Marked Delivered" section of our Returns, Store Credit & Refund Policy. We'll always review these situations case by case and help where we can.
