Type Celebrates Howard Med Students on Match Day

At Type, we understand that some moments in life deserve to be celebrated with more than just words – they deserve to be commemorated with meaningful gestures. That’s why, when the Howard University College of Medicine (HUCM) Class of 2023 celebrated Match Day, we were beyond excited to play a small part in such an incredible milestone.
Match Day is a defining moment for medical students, marking the culmination of years of rigorous study and dedication as they find out where they will continue their journey as resident physicians. For the students at Howard University, Match Day was not only a day of excitement and anticipation but also one that reflected their commitment to medicine and the communities they will soon serve.
At Howard University College of Medicine, diversity and inclusion are at the core of the institution’s mission to train physicians who will care for and advocate for diverse communities. Each graduating class is a testament to the importance of this mission, with students from all backgrounds coming together with one shared goal: to make a lasting impact in the world of healthcare. We at Type are incredibly proud to support such a driven and diverse group of future doctors.
We were proud to gift each member of the HUCM Class a Type belt bag to mark the occasion. Whether it’s their first day of residency or their late-night shifts at the hospital, we wanted to ensure these bags would be as functional and stylish as they are.
The journey doesn’t end with Match Day – in fact, it’s just the beginning. As these graduates embark on their residency programs and continue their training, we’re excited to watch them grow and thrive as they make their mark in the medical field. And with their new Type bags by their side, we hope they always carry with them the knowledge that they have the support of a community cheering them on.
Congratulations to the Howard University College of Medicine graduates! We wish you all the best as you take the next step in your medical careers. We can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll do in the years to come.
